Water damage and yellowed pages don't reduce the value of a used book to me. They increase it.
$8/day slush fund in Southeast Asia is about right. It covers the ice cream you didn't plan on, the tuk-tuk when your feet give out, and the occasional nice meal.
Great point about Ticket to Ride. I'd add that consistency beats intensity
Frosthaven's crafting system is so much better than Gloomhaven's that it makes me wish I could play Gloomhaven with Frosthaven crafting.
Agree with everything except the part about Terraforming Mars
The library shelf of 'recently returned' is better than any recommendation algorithm.
