Why I switched from Greece to Viking

I need help. I've been working on Greece for weeks and I'm stuck.

Here's what I've tried:

Approach A: didn't work because of time constraints
Approach B: partially worked but it was too slow
Approach C: too expensive/time-consuming

Any suggestions? I'm open to completely different approaches.
