I see a lot of discussion about Catan vs Terraforming Mars and I think people are overthinking it. Here's my take:

Catan is great for beginners because it's more forgiving. Ticket to Ride gives you more control but has a steeper learning curve.

At the end of the day, use what works for you. The best Terraforming Mars is the one you'll actually use.
