What makes a novel 'literary' and does the label even matter?

I've been into Book Club for about 3 months now and wanted to share my thoughts.

It's not perfect but it's close

I think the biggest misconception is that you need to be an expert to enjoy this. Just start with horror and go from there.

Would love to hear what others think.
