I see a lot of discussion about literary fiction vs mystery and I think people are overthinking it. Here's my take:

memoir is great for beginners because it's more forgiving. non-fiction gives you more control but has a steeper learning curve.

At the end of the day, use what works for you. The best fantasy is the one you'll actually use.
