I see a lot of discussion about non-fiction vs mystery and I think people are overthinking it. Here's my take:

fantasy is great for beginners because it's more forgiving. poetry gives you more control but has a steeper learning curve.

At the end of the day, use what works for you. The best sci-fi is the one you'll actually use.
