What Corvette do you recommend for a beginner?

I'll say it plainly: a correctly done restomod is a better car than a stock original in almost every way. Modern EFI, disc brakes at all four corners, a properly tuned suspension, and an interior that doesn't vibrate and rattle — these things make a car actually enjoyable to drive.

The stock purists will say you're ruining history. But here's the thing: the factory was building cars with the technology they had available. They weren't choosing carburetors because carburetors are better. They were choosing them because that's what existed.

I keep my restomods looking period-correct on the outside. Under the skin, I build cars that work.
