What's the deal with Raspberry Pi?

I've been into DIY Electronics for about 3 months now and wanted to share my thoughts.

It's good but not as revolutionary as people claim

I think the biggest misconception is that you need to be an expert to enjoy this. Just start with Raspberry Pi and go from there.

Would love to hear what others think.
