Hot take: LED isn't as good as people say

I need help. I've been working on display for weeks and I'm stuck.

Here's what I've tried:

Approach A: didn't work because of other priorities
Approach B: partially worked but it introduced new issues
Approach C: too expensive/time-consuming

Any suggestions? I'm open to completely different approaches.
