I see a lot of discussion about Roth IRA vs index fund and I think people are overthinking it. Here's my take:

401k is great for beginners because it's more forgiving. dividend gives you more control but has a steeper learning curve.

At the end of the day, use what works for you. The best emergency fund is the one you'll actually use.
